Accessibility Statement
Last reviewed: 27 October 2026
We want everyone in Pimple Saudagar to be able to find millet bread on this site, including people who use screen readers, keyboards, magnification or other assistive technology.
Our standard
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, in line with the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016 and India's Guidelines for Indian Government Websites (GIGW).
What we've done
- A "Skip to main content" link at the top of every page.
- Everything works with a keyboard, with a clearly visible focus outline.
- Text and buttons meet WCAG AA colour contrast (at least 4.5:1).
- Stock status is shown in words ("In stock", "Few left", "Sold out"), not by colour alone.
- All form fields and filters have labels; search results are announced to screen readers.
- Decorative emoji are hidden from screen readers.
- Pages reflow on phones and at 200% zoom without sideways scrolling.
- Animations are turned off if your device asks for reduced motion.
- The cookie banner is labelled for screen readers and doesn't block the page.
Known limitations
- The availability table is wide; on small screens it scrolls sideways inside its box.
- Map links open Google Maps, which we don't control.
- The site is in English only. [Marathi and Hindi versions are planned.]

How we tested
We tested with keyboard-only navigation, a browser zoom of 200%, automated contrast checks, and [NVDA on Windows / TalkBack on Android]. This statement was prepared on 27 October 2026.
